| OPV, IPV or combined vaccine__? |

Blog : With advent of IPV and polio still rampant in our country, there is confusion regarding how to vaccinate children with polio vaccine. Now combined OPV and IPV schedule is recommended but is really so many dosages required__? Also in immunocompromised patients we recommend only IPV. Does that mean their immunization is incomplete. If we need to give OPV to maintain herd immunity and IPV for good immunity, are we not exposing the child to too many dosages for passive immunization of children who would not be taking the vaccine. Rather than that shouldn`t vaccine coverage be improved.
Unbiased vaccine comments would be appreciated.
