Question
Dear Doc I had Serum Rubella IgG And IgM positive Jan 2005.I had a miscarriage then at ten weeks gestation. I rechecked my Serum Rubella IgG and IgM levels for rubella last week and again both the values are positive. How significant is this IgM which is still positive. Is it safe for me to conceive now or few months later? Thank you sincerely preethi.
Answer
You must wait till the IgM becomes negative and the IgG shows a four fold rise. Please recheck the titres from a reliable lab.
